Javier and I had some amazing learnings as we published our first book. This is the 5th post in our series of key lessons learned.

Lesson #5 - Reach out to other authors and learn from them.

As first time authors, we were pretty clueless when we decided to write our book. We found it REALLY helpful to talk to other authors - traditionally published authors and self-published authors. These conversations informed our decisions on the approach we would take. This also helped us identify where we needed additional help from various professionals - more on that tomorrow.
