HOW MINDSET WIZARDRY CAME TO LIFE
We didn’t plan to start a company together - we just couldn’t ignore what we were seeing.
After working together for years inside a Fortune 500 company—often guiding leaders to navigate large-scale change — we went our separate ways professionally. Then, in 2021, we reconnected. What started as a simple catch-up quickly turned into a much deeper conversation.
We were both noticing the same troubling pattern: leaders at all levels (from frontline managers to executives) and working professionals were overwhelmed. Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity (VUCA) were no longer occasional disruptions; they had become the norm. And many people didn’t feel equipped to handle it.
That shared insight struck a chord.
We’d both built consulting practices by then, building leadership capability and helping companies and individuals through periods of intense transformation. But what lit us up was realizing we shared a mission: to help people not just survive disruption—but use it as a springboard for something greater.
So we teamed up.
We began with a bold question: What makes some people crumble in chaos while others rise? To find out, we surveyed more than 500 professionals and interviewed over 30 successful executives from across industries. We also examined our own life experiences. The patterns were clear—and powerful. And they became the foundation of our book, Mindset Wizardry :The Magic Behind Thriving in a VUCA World, published in 2022.
From there, Mindset Wizardry, LLC became a reality.
We expanded our work beyond the page, developing practical tools, workshops, and self-paced learning experiences for both individuals and organizations. Today, we help leaders and teams build their own change playbooks—and help everyday professionals face uncertainty with clarity, courage, and a stronger sense of self.
